Bouchier Foundational Awards
In 2024, we launched the Bouchier Foundational Awards to recognize team members who demonstrate our core values, We Care, We Inspire, We Deliver, that are influenced by the seven sacred teachings in Indigenous culture.
There are seven awards, each representing one of the seven sacred teachings.

Humility (The Wolf)
This award is given to individuals who do not naturally seek recognition for their achievements, willingly shares credit with others and embraces feedback as an opportunity for growth. Travis Podger with Safety was the recipient of the Humility Award. Read more about Travis:

Wisdom (The Beaver)
This award is given to an individual who identifies solutions to complex problems, actively shares knowledge, supports continual learning, and offers guidance to others. Lawson Gordon, from Operations, was the recipient of the Wisdom Award.

This award is given to an individual who finds good in all and demonstrates genuine care, empathy and support for others, fostering inclusivity and a positive work environment. Aden Mohamed in Operations was the recipient of the Love award. Read more about Aden here:

Truth (The Turtle)
This award is given to someone who takes responsibility for their actions, learns from their mistakes and stays true to themselves even in difficult situations. Alfred (Allen) Langley in Operations was the recipient of the Truth award. You can read more about Alfred here:

Respect (The Bison)
This award is given to individuals who earn respect from colleagues or community by staying true to their values, and their actions/behaviours align with their words. Michael Chadwick with IT was the recipient of the 2024 Respect award. Read more about Mike here:

This award is given to a person of integrity – shows consistent adherence to strong moral and ethical principles and values. Sarah Fowler with People & Culture was the recipient of the Honesty award. Read more about Sarah here:

Allan Martial is always eager to share his knowledge to help others succeed. That’s why he has been recognized with the 2024 Foundational Award for Wisdom, symbolized by the Beaver in the Seven Sacred Teachings.
Courage (The Bear)
This award is given to Someone who shows bravery, determination and resilience in the face of adversity or challenges. Fallon on our Operations team was the recipient of the Courage award. Read more about Fallon here:
