Our story began with nothing more than an idea, a used dozer and a passionate, entrepreneurial spirit. In the last 25 years, Bouchier has grown to be much more.

Bouchier is an authentically local, privately run, and 100% Indigenous-owned company located in Fort McKay, the heart of Alberta’s Athabasca oil sands region, providing civil contracting and facility services.

At its heart, Bouchier is a family business, owned and operated by Nicole and David Bouchier. With a belief in the importance of always being a good neighbour, we invest time to know our industry and clients deeply, and we honor our roots to create lasting change for Indigenous peoples and communities through investments and meaningful work.
