Recognized as a transformative leader, Faraz brings over 20 years of progressive management experience across the energy and infrastructure sectors, including Canada, the United States, Europe and the Middle East. A commitment to environment, social & governance complements his expertise to lead business units and functions (whether public markets, private equity or private corporations) across governance and management. Prior roles include Executive Vice-President, Business Development at a Tier 1 Western Canadian Civil Contractor and Vice President at a multi-national engineering, construction, and maintenance firm.

Faraz has strong ties to Wood Buffalo having grown up in Fort McMurray. He is a graduate of University of Alberta and earned his Juris Doctor from New York Law School in 2003.
