Francis (Frankie) Hynes is a quiet force behind the success of many new team members at Albian GSS R&G. As a Trainer in our Training Department, he leads with purpose – bringing a steady, supportive presence and a genuine commitment to helping others succeed. Known for his thoughtful approach and willingness to go the extra mile, Frankie has helped raise the standard for what effective, people-first training looks like at Bouchier.
Frankie joined Bouchier in 2019 as a Heavy Equipment Operator, bringing with him experience from a previous training background. Within a year and a half, his passion for supporting others was recognized, and he was invited to pursue a role in training as a coach.
“My growth here has been amazing,” Frankie reflects. “I’ve learned a lot of new things since starting, and the training team has come a long way since then. I’m fortunate to work with peers and managers who always support the questions I have and the ideas I bring forward.”
Like any journey worth taking, Frankie knew joining the Training Department would be a new challenge. But instead of stepping back and waiting, he leaned in and started leading the path forward.
“I wanted to help make things better for the new employees coming in. I spoke up and let people know that I’d like to be a coach, and they listened. That really set things in motion.”
His determination helped strengthen the department and created a more welcoming and structured training environment for others. Through consistency, honesty, and a positive attitude, Frankie became a reliable and respected presence on the team.
“Frankie truly exemplifies what it means to be a Trainer. His approach to training delivery is both thoughtful and effective, drawing on deep knowledge and hands-on expertise to create impactful learning experiences. Coupled with his strong competency in administrative tasks and computer-based work, Frankie consistently demonstrates the qualities of a well-rounded, highly professional trainer.
His journey at Bouchier (from operator to coach to trainer) not only speaks to his personal growth and dedication, but also reflects the very essence of our Grow Our Own strategy. This natural step progression is exactly what we strive to foster and is a strong example of the development path we aim to make possible for all team members.”
– Chris Patterson, Manager, Training Department
When asked what advice he’d give to others looking to grow within the company, Frankie shares, “Stay true to yourself. Be honest with everyone and work hard for what you want in life—everything is possible. Having the right mindset and attitude toward others is so important. Without those things, it’s hard to get anywhere in life.”
Congratulations, Frankie, on your years of service and a career that continues to inspire growth, teamwork, and a strong sense of purpose.
